My name is Corri Laine.  I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach 3rd grade at BCA.  I know it's going to be a year of full learning, friendships, and fun!  I pray that my students and I will grow in knowledge and faith over the course of this school year. 

     I was a special education teacher in the Mukilteo and Central Valley school districts for 12 years.  I have a bachelor degree in Psychology from Northwest University and a master degree in Special Education from University of Washington.  I am passionate about helping students with unique learning needs gain skills and be fully included in the classroom environment.  I am excited for this new adventure of teaching at a Christian school!  I believe that kids need the firm foundation of God's Word, and it is our job at BCA to partner with families to "train them in the way they should go" (Prov 22:6).        

     When I'm not at work, you will find me spending time with my wonderful family.  My husband, Cody, and I have been married for 14 years.  We have two beautiful children, Phoenix (8) and Vienna (6).  We love going to the park, beach, or just having a cozy pizza/movie night at home.  We also spend lots of time with our church family at Northwest Family Church.  My hobbies include playing piano and reading.  My favorite book is Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis.

     I will be praying that God blesses each child and family that comes to BCA, and I'm looking forward to a great year!
